Project Leader - Data Integration & project Planning

As the data engineering lead, I implemented Azure Integration Services (AIS), cutting costs by over 55% compared to SnapLogic.

I established Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) standards with AIS and trained the team accordingly, optimizing workflow efficiency. My advocacy for Azure centralized data integration, resulting in substantial cost savings. Managing a team serving seven Guardian Holdings Ltd. entities for Snowflake data warehousing,

I also supervised a six-member Data Engineering team, conducting evaluations and providing direct oversight as their line manager.

Innovation architect

In my role, I undertook the responsibility of architecting solutions aimed at replacing the current ETL tool. Throughout this process, I prioritized factors such as cost savings, while simultaneously ensuring the maintenance or improvement of performance.

I engaged in designing comprehensive architectural diagrams for these solutions, in addition to developing cloud-based architectural solutions specifically for the DISRUP project. I employed Lucid Chart as a tool to facilitate the creation of these architectural representations.

In my capacity as an AWS Cloud Architect on an innovative Guardian Group project, I actively engaged with various AWS Cloud Technologies to design and implement a robust and scalable infrastructure.

This involved proficient utilization of AWS Stack Formation, AWS EC2, AWS RDS, AWS Lightsail, AWS VPC, AWS CloudFront, AWS Route53, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and other relevant technologies., to construct a highly scalable and elastic deployment environment.

As a Scrum Master, I effectively utilized Microsoft DevOps to proficiently manage epics, features, user stories, and tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

I leveraged this platform to create insightful dashboards and queries, enabling the monitoring of task and bug progress across scheduled sprints and coordinated Scrum meetings with a dedicated development team of three members to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.

In my role, I assumed the responsibility of developing and managing all Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and pipelines for integrating data from four legacy systems into MongoDB. This involved designing and implementing efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading mechanisms to ensure the smooth flow of data into the MongoDB database

I undertook the development of RESTful APIs utilizing Node.js and Express on myGGonline.app and built the first version of a Developer portal on Azure APIM which served as a centralized platform to share APIs and facilitate seamless collaboration with external developers.

Additionally, I engaged in other internal projects where I developed and maintained applications using OutSystems, These applications involved proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and backend development using C#.
